Sanctuary to play Bloodstock Open Air
Featuring frontman Warrel Dane and bassist Jim Sheppard, Sanctuary rose to fame in the late 80’s after releasing their debut album “Refuge Denied”, produced by Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine. Two years after releasing their second album, “The Mirror Black”, the four piece disbanded, with Dane and Sheppard going on to form Nevermore.
Frontman Warrel Dane says: “Really psyched to play Bloodstock 2012. It’s the band’s first time back in the UK in over 20 years and we are honored to be invited to one of the greatest summer festivals in the world. We can’t wait to thrash it up with our fans!.”
Joining them with be Michigan metallers The Black Dahlia Murder and Swedish metal merchants Grand Magus.
