Albert Hall – a new music venue opens for young local bands
We’re sadly getting used to seeing “xxxx venue to close” on the live music circuit, so we’re pleased to report one has opened – for the main purpose of promoting new music talent. No, not THAT Albert Hall. The Albert Hall in Atherstone, Warwickshire is opening this Sunday 8th April and will feature ‘White Men Can’t Funk’ and ‘The Voyeurs’.
The production team, headed up by Jase Edwards (Wolfsbane / Ginger) say: “Albert Hall LMV (Atherstone) is dedicated to focusing on the young local bands that are into a ‘scene’ giving them a place where they can thrive, develop and play gigs. Also making the venue a place where people can come and enjoy live music at a reasonable price with good Beer and excellent music on a regular basis week in week out.”
If you’re in the area, check out the night and future events on their Facebook page or drop in to Albert Hall, 112 Long St, Atherstone, CV9 1AF
