Bryan Adams releases previously unheard of tracks from “Reckless” to mark 30th anniversary of album
Bryan Adams is to release previously unheard of tracks to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his 1984 hit album, “Reckless”.
Universal Music will be re-releasing the multi-platinum record with an additional seven never-before-heard tracks. Regarded as one of the greatest rock albums of the 80’s and one of the most defining moments in Adams’ career, “Reckless” will be re-released on 10th November.
Released three decades ago – on Adams’ 25th birthday – the 10-track record spawned six ground-breaking hit singles, “Run To You”, “Somebody”, “Heaven”, “Summer of 69″,”One Night Love Affair” and “It’s Only Love”, the duet with the iconic Tina Turner.
In addition to the original 10 tracks, the re-release includes seven previously unreleased bonus tracks. These tracks were written as demos with Jim Vallance – the co-writer on the album. Of utmost interest to fans will be the actual inclusion of the track “Reckless” which due to deadlines did not make it onto the original album. The deluxe edition also includes the landmark 1985 live gig at the Hammersmith Odeon.
