The Empty Page Unveil New Single & Video

Manchester’s The Empty Page are back with their second new release of 2019, unleashing a brooding video for latest track He’s Very Good At Swimming.

Not ones to veer away from tough subject matter, the new single takes things darker both lyrically and musically, exploring the subject of victim blaming and how the media tend to focus on a perpetrator’s merits above all else.

Produced by Simon Ding Archer (PJ Harvey, Pixies), He’s Very Good At Swimming is the follow up to the band’s first single this year, When The Cloud Explodes, which garnered plenty of airplay and a hugely favourable critical reception across the board when released back in February.

The band have also announced that £2 from each T-shirt and art print sold, both featuring the new single artwork, is going to Manchester Rape Crisis who offer counselling and support to victims. Head on over to their Bandcamp site and start shopping.
