EP Review: Riot Noise – Fight The People
The first full EP from Bristol rockers Riot Noise really follows on from where the first single, Never Wrong (also included here) left off.
A rock n roll by numbers sound coupled with singer Marty’s drawling vocal make a decent enough sound, and with the press and video work they’ve been doing, this wouldn’t be out of place with some of the more middle of the road stuff Scuzz and MTV2 put out mid-afternoon.
The problem with Riot Noise is that they’re ok, but have yet to write any killer tracks to cut through the general apathy they create. And I regret to say, having seen them earlier in the year, the live show has much the same effect.
